Rubicon Professional Services (RPS) was formed in 2006 by a group of data center design and construction professionals to provide our clients with a highly technical approach to the design and construction of data centers, telecom sites, mission-critical facilities, and clean renewable energy projects. Our intent was to go beyond typical “brick and mortar” contractors, and provide a highly skilled focus on the components that account for up to 80% of the cost, efficiency, and reliability of the data center and critical support infrastructure – the complex electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire protection systems that are the life blood of the facility.

We recruited the most highly skilled and experienced professionals in the mission-critical design and construction business, and developed a specialized approach to construction that combined the technical talent of professional engineers and architects with the expertise of our construction specialists – project managers, superintendents, and MEP coordinators. The resulting team is unsurpassed in the industry in terms of combined technical prowess and construction skills.
